General Information

Sherwood Hills Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus signature course built on natural flowing land. The layout is described as an inland links because of the hard running fairways and open-fronted greens. The nasty cogon grass that flanks the fairway is almost impenetrable and vegetation filled ravines come into play on many of the holes as well. Beautiful rain trees border many of the holes of Sherwood Hills Golf Club. Water comes into play around the turn - most notably on the incredibly demanding par-4 ninth. All 18 holes are fully exposed to the players and the wind in Cavite dictates the difficulty of the course. It is a highly interesting course with holes you would remember even after your game. Sherwood Hills Golf Club is a challenging course that will stay in your memories for years to come. This local favorite is located just over an hour south of Manila. Using the native landscape, the original rain trees that filled that land were left to border many of the holes. Water comes into play on a few holes, particularly on the par-4 ninth hole. Constructed with a links style design, the player can see all 18 holes but be aware of the winds in Cavite because they can change the difficulty of each hole. Jack Nicklaus designed Sherwood Hills Golf Club with a links style with hard running fairways and open-fronted greens.
