The autonomous region of Catalonia is located in the Northeast of Spain and lies on Mediterranean coast. It borders France and Andorra in the north, the Mediterranean sea in the east, the region of Valencia in the south, and Aragon in the west. Like a canvas where nature has intended to combine with exquisite delicacy the intense green of the pine groves, the massive steadfastness of the rocks, the softness of the golden sands and the deep, dazzling blue of the sea - that is the Costa Brava. Golf courses of unsurpassed quality, beautiful scenery and beaches, and numerous places of historic interest make the Costa Brava the perfect Golf holiday destination.
The PGA European Tour consider the Emporda & Pals Golf Courses good enough to host their annual Final Tour Qualifying School. Five golf courses have been voted in the top 50 in Europe by Golf World. It’s fair to say the golfing fraternity consider Golf in Catalonia as exceptional.
There are few other golf destinations in Europe that offer such a selection of great golf courses. Many of the courses are seldom overcrowded, enjoying a good selection of tee time availability and calm pace of play. Green fees are reasonable considering the stature of the courses. Most of the courses have stunning landscape views from forest pines, mountains, sea and rolling countryside.
