Comments: A nice track with a lot of variety. Remarkable amount of wildlife on view. Like playing in a zoo. A fun track, generous fairways, fair greens. Nothing really tricked up. We would definately play this course again, especially on Sunday which is our annual return day because of its close proximity to the airport.

Comments: The greatest challenge are the greens that are deceptively enticing upon approach, but if a shot is errant by a couple of yards you'll pay with strokes wasted in chipping to recover. This course is designed for the golfer who's not afraid of deceptive greens and can control their mid iron accuracies well. A course designed to hone good golf game management.

Comments: Nothing special about the front nine. The back nine is beautiful with Oak lined fairways, beautiful landscape, etc. Course in excellent condition.

Comments: Great links layout and very fair holes. Greens are challenging but reachable. Location near the airport is a plus; facilities are adequate but make sure if you are showering to bring your own soap (they do rent towels). For those of us from up North, we were surprised there were no ball washers and there's not enough water holes on the course to make up for that. A very minor complaint for a course we would happily play again.

Comments: North Shore has been a great opening day course for us in two outings. The front nine feels more wide open, which is great when you haven't golfed in a month or two. We always see an alligator or two along the waterways, which adds to the uniqueness of the course. The back nine used to be totally different than the front nine - through a lot of trees with Spanish moss hanging from them. The hurricane took out a number of the trees on the back nine, which is too bad but not fatal to the course. The starters have always been friendly, as have the rangers. They could use some help at the front desk - they always seem busy when we have tried to check in (more so than other courses).
