Always rated among Florida's top 25 courses, Mission Inn Resort is home to Las Colinas and its sister course, El Campeón which is well worth the 35 minute drive from downtown Orlando, northwest to Howey-in-the-Hills. Las Colinas is a links-style golf course with wide-open fairways and gentle rolling hills. The greens are large and undulating and there is plenty of water as this was built on natural wetlands. The signature hole is the 12th with a par-5, nicknamed “Alligator Alley”. Gary Koch was thinking challenging when he created that drive that spans 493 yards and requires absolute accuracy from tee to green. Mission Inn is a very popular resort featuring these two world-class courses just north of Orlando and easily accessible.
