International Golf Club is worth the trip! Leave about 40 minutes for travel from the Disney/Resort area in Orlando and you will find yourself amazed at the layout that�s just a bit off the beaten track! This phenomenal layout winds its way through nature preserves, wetland areas and along the lakefront. Famous golf course architect Joe Lee describes Deer Island as the "most unique golf course I've ever designed." Water comes into play on most holes yet this unique course is breathtakingly beautiful and shouldn't be missed, regardless of your playing ability. The shifting winds make this golf course a different challenge every day. Secluded but not isolated, the 400-acre "island" on which the club resides is actually a peninsula, with spectacular natural habitats for an abundance of wildlife. Bald eagles are regularly seen perched atop towering oaks, and the lakes that dominate the landscape house a wide variety of plant and animal species indigenous to central Florida.

International Golf Club has a large driving range with all-natural grass tees and practice bunker area that's always in excellent condition. In addition there is a nine-hole practice putting green conveniently located between the clubhouse and the first tee. Instruction is also available by appointment from a PGA professional.
