Comments: very narrow course, and a lot of blind shots if you have never played the course you need to be in the middle at all times. A lot of trees and brush, and they are in a drought which added to the not so good playing conditions. I would not play the course again no matter what the price was or conditions.

Comments: Diamondback proved to be a challenging layout. It took us three or four holes to get used to the "jungle!" Once the course opened up a bit, we had a great time. This is definately a walk in the park, a nature preserve and we have as much to say about the bald eagles, sandhill cranes and aligators as the golf. This was very pleasant. The people were a little bit hung up on pace which is a little unusual where it is so likely that a group is going to lose a buncha balls in the no-mercy woods lining virtually the entire course. We kept our ball hunting to a bare minimum and appreciated the local rule on playing balls in the woods as lateral hazards. Although we enjoyed our time at Diamondback we would think again before including it on our card for future trips given our skill level. This is definately a course for average to above average golfers. The folks at the 19th hole were very accomodating and pleasant.

Comments: This is not a 4 star golf course as rated by Golf Digest. The fairways and greens are the "hardest" I have ever seen. Nothing sticks! Its like playing on "concrete acres". Ball runs forever and usually off the fairway into junk or off the green.

Comments: A great course in awesome condition. The staff was courteous and helpful, offering local knowledge on the first three holes. The course seemed a bit short from the white tees until the wind picked up and then it was all you could handle. The maps on the scorecard could be a bit more helpful, especially since this course probably draws a bunch of first time players. I would definately go back. Best course I have played in central Florida.

Comments: A real test of golf that started on the first tee with the starter advising that all fairways to the left and right of every hole was a lateral water hazard. Accuracy is key rather than distance and although the greens were fairly slow on the day, it was a real pleasure to play and unusual for a player used to UK courses.
